Eventually the Dash will focus all their energy on the current season, but for now they cannot be blamed for thinking about the past. It puts the early success into perspective.
The Dash have not been close to making the playoffs in their first three years. Unless the team wants to face significant changes next offseason, they likely need to qualify or at least make a serious push in 2017.
With two wins in their first three games thus far, they believe they are on the right track.
