It looks like the Houston Dynamo will be without DaMarcus Beasley for the foreseeable future, as the veteran defender posted news of a knee injury to Instagram on Monday afternoon.
Team officials confirmed that Beasley would undergo surgery later in the week to remove loose bodies in his left knee. A definitive timetable on his return to the field was not immediately given, but he is expected to begin rehabilitation immediately after surgery and the team expects him to return "in a timely manner."
Beasley exited Friday's 0-0 draw against Orlando City SC in the 67th minute with the injury.
