Friday, Feb. 19 marked the first game for the Charlotte Hornets following the all-star break. Traveling the farthest west they will have to go for the rest of the season, Charlotte found themselves in a battle with the Milwaukee Bucks. The lineup looked different than the last time Charlotte stepped onto the floor. During the last game before the all-star break against Indiana, small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist re-injured the same right shoulder he had operated on during the preseason. Kidd-Gilchrist had season ending shoulder surgery last week in Philadelphia.
With Kidd-Gilchrist down for the year, it was up to the front office to decided if they wanted to find a replacement, or trust the players in place to step up.
