49ers fall to WKU, split road trip

The Charlotte 49ers (10-8, 3-4) returned home safely Saturday night after ending their second consecutive road trip with a loss to WKU. The 49ers challenged the Lady Toppers late as they sparked a run cutting WKU’s lead to two points at the 8:44 mark in the fourth quarter but with the help of leading scorer Kendall Noble, the Lady Toppers pulled away.
