Arkansas baseball notebook: Explaining why Razorbacks will not stream first game vs. Stetson

FAYETTEVILLE — There will be no video stream of the Arkansas baseball series opener against Stetson on Friday.

Kyle Parkinson, an associate athletics director who oversees the Razorback Sports Network, said priority Friday will be given to a pair of home conference events. The Razorbacks are scheduled to host a softball game against Georgia at 6 p.m. and a gymnastics meet against Oklahoma at 7:15 p.m.

RSN produces all of the SEC Network+ sporting events on campus from a control room at Bud Walton Arena. While RSN is hopeful to expand its production capabilities in the future, it cannot produce more than two events simultaneously with the equipment it has now.
